Angular guys are perfect in giving features like template compilation cool names like AOT to make buzz. But actually most FW has AOT already then. Nothing special to be excited about. Don't stick to their glue just because of this and remember how terrible they failed with 1.x.
- k__ 10y agoI didn't stick to ng2 because it felt overloaded with concepts, also writing it felt kinda awkward, coming from stuff like Ember and React.
- DSteinmann 10y agoI doubt any competent developers are even considering Angular for new projects. Not just because of 1.x but because it's not a relevant technology anymore. Everywhere I look cyclic data is the way forward. Using Angular now is like using Backbone in 2014.
