They used total ratings as a proxy for fan popularity. I sorted by average rating count per day to give a different outlook, as some shows have been available to rate for longer. Firefly (37 ratings a day) is still up there in second place below Terra Nova (38 a day): http://d.pr/i/1119j http://d.pr/i/1119j That doesn't take into consideration the rating values, though; just their quantity. It would be interesting to see ratings per day weighted by user rating, but I couldn't find a way to retrieve that raw data.
