This is a profound misunderstanding of corporate governance, and the fact that so many people here somehow agree with the assertion that CEOs are paid for luck is astounding.
- wstrange 10y agoIt would help if you could add some more substance to that assertion. CxOs clearly require some competence- I don't think that is in dispute. It is the 200x + salary differential that is in question and the subject of the article. Can you cite some other studies that contradict this?
