Truth is the ultimate defense for libel suits.
Saying "elite dating.com (or whatever site it is) sued a person I know for $800 for contesting the charges of a CC and here is the proof" cannot be libel, plain and simple.
- jarek 17y agoThat's not going to stop these people from filing vexatious lawsuits. Many are not enthusiastic about the idea of defending against a libel suit. Baseless or not, it can still take a lot of time, money, and energy. The woman who paid $800 for peace of mind is the perfect example.
