Seamless would not be the word I would use. I would instead argue that what Pokemon Go proved was that Google's Cloud is not of the same quality, at scale, that AWS is.

- jcastro 10y agoHow do you know it was the cloud and only the cloud? Are you familiar with the application code itself?
- sofaofthedamned 10y agoWhat exactly shows that? What it probably shows is that using the cloud isn't a magic bullet to making you scale indefinitely, you need to work on your code to decouple from the infrastructure too.
