She says she gets foodstamps. She may well have a free cellphone.
By the sounds of the article she isn't passive and actively looks for ways to improve her situation.
- agumonkey 10y agoAlso in the storm it's easy to forget to ask for every possible aid. And probably avoid asking for more if you're already given some, to actually avoid being seen as more of a leech that you feel being.
