Personally, I don't think so. You can make more contracting as a developer ( 1099 ). Also you get more tax writeoffs, too.

- fsloth 10y agoThat's quite an assertive comment given we have no information on the specific domain, nor of the personal network of the op. I might be wrong but I've understood both of these have quite specific requirements for the most lucrative contracting jobs.
