I started renting a PO box for deliveries that I can swing by after work. It sucks to have to carry heavy stuff the last mile, but the alternative is just not getting deliveries ever, and I buy most things through amazon these days.
- pimeys 10y agoI just order everything that is not too heavy to carry to our office. I never miss any deliveries this way and most of the time the items are small enough to carry in my bike bag.
- tedunangst 10y agoI totally understand why you'd do that, having considered it myself, but this is a really backwards solution. The article is all about how the last mile delivery is difficult. So the solution is to suck at it until the customer gives up and solves it for you?
