This post is completely false, you can absolutely build a safe language on unsafe foundations. Swift is compiled to assembly, which is unsafe, yet it provides a 'safe' interface (not as safe as Rust, but still). Similarly, Flow/Purescript/Elm have every ability to provide a safe interface to javascript.
