You might want [PyX](http://pyx.sourceforge.net/ http://pyx.sourceforge.net/) which takes TeX formula input and can return you SVGs. You could also combine that

You might want [PyX](http://pyx.sourceforge.net/ http://pyx.sourceforge.net/) which takes TeX formula input and can return you SVGs. You could also combine that with Sympy for formula manipulation etc.
