PHP Developer in the Southwest of UK (Devon, Cornwall, Somerset etc) 25k, no bonus - and that's about average. Living here isn't the cheapest either, £600pcm for a 2 bed flat, over £1,000 a year for water. Really need to move towards the midlands (Bristol, Birmingham, Leicester, Staffordshire - cheaper rent, cheaper water, higher pay) I've been a Dev for 7+ years.
