I think the article is unduly harsh but I think it makes a valid point. It's sort of a live by the sword, die by the sword thing. I disagree. To me, assuming that the situation really is as described in this article, Apple's response come across as petty vengeance. Holding grudges. Childish and spiteful. That kind of behaviour is of very limited use in business.
