The article is talking about version 3.0
- themihai 10y agoI see.. though it(swift 3) was just released. I didn't know the enterprise world changed so much(i.e. adopting a technology immediately after release). The core/std library `is not yet ready for production use, and in fact are still in the earliest stages of development.` I also heard Swift 4 is likely to have breaking changes. (ABI) stability will start only on Swift 4 too. But what do I know...? Swift is great and everyone should abandon whatever obsolete language/tools they have in favour of this shinning thing because it has a nicer syntax.
