- calpaterson 10y agoI think it would be stupid too but the article does contain an executive being fairly direct about wanting it and why.
- MollyR 10y agoYea I read that, but I don't see how it really benefits Salesforce. I can see why the executive likes it.
- mattwg 10y agoI think it makes a bit of sense. For a lot of companies Twitter is already a major point of customer interaction and retention. Maybe Salesforce feels like they could monetize that aspect of Twitter, with the advantage that a ton of consumers are already there and using it.
- abz10 10y agoIt will introduce a conflict of interest, where the side that has is paying Twitter. The perception alone of a conflict means people will 'find' it all over the place and those examples to their bias until slowly and gradually no one will trust the service anymore. Even if Twitter never changes anything.
- dennyabraham 10y agoIt could enhance and supersede Salesforce's already existing Chatter product (an internal social newsfeed).
- EternalBeginner 10y agoWhat if the social media giant is wondering about its own shelf life?
