The most interesting place to see is in the Netherlands, followed by the Zürich area in Switzerland. In my experience it's easy to get miles of range when you have line of sight. Just look at the measurement from nearby Lucerne to Zürich (Switzerland). That's around 50-60km. If you have buildings in the way, things get tougher. Putting up gateways high on the roof helps.
