Is an iPhone 5 less thick than an iPhone 4S? It seems the chassis is the same thickness, but the screen/touch assembly was recessed. Switching to lightning freed up width, but it appears to me there was not much reduction in height. I actually see the Magsafe 2 is about 2/3 height of the original Magsafe connector.
