So how unreasonably would it be to ask for a 1 million(+) cash signing bonus from Google as a fresh CMU graduate (if they want to I'd agree and make it repayable proportionally if I leave after X month)? At the very least I'm guessing that fresh employees have more leverage than they think. If you think 1kk is too much maybe 100k? Or maybe ask for them to pay your rent while you work there?
