- Asooka 10y agoInteresting, but are the rest 80% homeless for long, or is it just that they are homeless for a bit, but as soon as they get back on their feet, someone else is already homeless?
- lukeschlather 10y agoFrom the Definition of Terms section in the second link: > Chronically Homeless Individuals are homeless individuals with disabilities who have either been continuously homeless for a year or more or have experienced at least four episodes of homelessness in the last three years.
- Asooka 10y agoSo the system basically works for 80% of people who fall into homelessness, but the moment you get one person back on their legs, another on becomes homeless and needs help. Kind of a "treating the symptom not the disease", but it seems to work 80% of the time.
