- vidarh 10y agoIn most cases what matters is very localised consistency - e.g. I want to see the comments I post on a comment page right away - while global consistency matters much less, as long as the system keeps converging (it may or may not be consistent at any given point in time, but the older a change is, the more likely that it appears the same everywhere, basically).
