The only reason Trump "accepts" this today is because someone at Trump HQ with an IQ over 100 sat down, looked at some figures, and realized that it's mathematically impossible to win a US presidential election with a proportion of the black vote in the single digits. So this person thinks long and hard about how to push that number up a little bit, comes up with this awesome idea which they think somehow "redeems" Trump, and this is what you get. The problem with this entire farce of a "news story" is that it's obvious pandering and only works if you believe the premise that black people are stupid.
