For phones, I'm an Android user but for laptops, I've loved MacBook Pro's (and personally bought three of them other than the work provided ones) for the last 10 years at least for their premier hardware and solid, Unix based OS. In between, I've taken a cursory look at premier chromebooks or ubuntu based laptops as possible replacements but have found them short on one pretext or another. But if the minimalism fundamentalists from Apple win out and start stealing required ports (and Yes, I need the mini port, the HDMI port and the SDCard slot ... along with USB), I'm gone. No more macbooks for me.
