Their new rechargeable wireless mouse has the charging connector on the bottom, so it's completely unusable when charging (http://www.geek.com/apple/design-before-function-apple-magic-mouse-2-cant-be-used-while-charging-1636939/ http://www.geek.com/apple/design-before-function-apple-magic...). The mind boggles. My mom got one with her new iMac. Needless to say it went in the trash and she kept using the old one that ran off of AA batteries.
