I doubt that's possible since they are totally different design: Firewire is daisy-chained while USB hub, Firewire has DMA while USB doesn't.

- AstralStorm 10y agoUSB does have DMA. In fact, OHCI standard mandates it. The hub topology is a problem as some devices ignore bandwidth allocation for isochronous transfers.
