The audio recording hasn't been bad for long time, though with BT it really is a case of you get what you pay for. I had a fairly nice BT headset from Jabra back from about 2009, and it sounded good for playback and for talking to people on skype/vent/game chats. My cheapo chinese knockoff headset I bought for running has a horrible mic (but good audio) I'm not saying it's perfect and everyone should immediately love it, but wireless audio is good enough for most people right now. The fact that I have the option of getting a $10 pair of BT headphones for running is pretty cool, and it's a purchase I do not regret in the slightest - they've survived Russian winters, so they're good enough in my book.
