- micaksica 10y agoOh, I agree. I think there is a definite issue of people ascribing "old dogs, old tricks", and that bias is the hard thing to overcome. It's especially hard when a lot of people are confirming that. It's the age equivalent of https://xkcd.com/385/ https://xkcd.com/385/ . When it's a younger person, it's "this person can't code for <x> because they don't have experience." It's harder to quell that cognitive dissonance when you don't have that out and forces you to place the blame on incompetence.
