Sometimes, I can't help but think to myself that when all is said and done, and all protests and studies and statistics and news blurbs and talking-head debates are finished, at the end of the calculation, this is what will change the way police interact with minorities.
In an America where minorities are becoming no-longer-minorities, the probability that cops choosing a random non-white-guy to beat haven't chosen someone from the 1% (or someone with friends in the 1%) who can pursue their careers to the ends of the earth with the tools of the system itself approach zero.
There's not a lot in America that doesn't march to the beat of a capitalistic drum.
