Isn't GM the same company that knew about a faulty(possible fatal implications) ignition system and let it be because it wasn't cost effective to fix it publicly? I grew wary of GM the moment I read that news and watched Jon Stewart butcher them on Daily Show. I'd buy a Tesla definitely for their effort to improve safety more than the "coolness/tech" factor. If only I had so much money. ... flies away from HN to do the daily job ...
