Society can only work when there is trust and self reliance. Usurping from those who are responsible with their money rips this fabric. If you assume we all should be ok with this because 'society' then why not make it a voluntary bailout and see how far it goes. This would be a bailout at gunpoint because that's how laws and taxes boil down.
- imgabe 10y agoWould you say society is not working now then? There's plenty of mistrust and people who are not self-reliant. By your definition we don't currently have and have never in human history had, a working society.
