In Australia in the past decade it's become harder to get a license. It was 25 hours of practice, now it's 100 or something. I reckon that could be one reason.

Has that happened in other countries?
- jessaustin 10y agoNot in USA. My understanding is that driving gets safer all the time, just from vehicle safety improvements. What motivated Australia to impose this burden on new drivers?
