Use uBlock Origin, not uBlock.

- antome 10y agouBlock was maintained by one person, but they wanted to move on to other projects, so they handed the project to someone else. The other person horribly mismanaged the project, and contributed essentially nothing. The original developer decided to return with uBlock origin.

- charlesdenault 10y agoI'm still using uBlock for Safari until Origin is ported.
- 4ad 10y agoDon't, use an ad blocker that uses the native content block API, rather than JavaScript.
- kobayashi 10y agoWhy, though? I haven't found any content blockers to have done even as good a job as the unmaintained uBlock, let alone a better job.
- 4ad 10y agoI get about two more hours of battery life on my laptop. My laptop doesn't get warm anymore, and fans don't spin.
