With similar sunglasses, and remember that the cool phone from that movie was actually the Nokia 8110 not the one pictured there. The design of the Matrix was almost a minimalist reaction to the bulky steampunkish aesthetic of the 90s. In many ways the Matrix ushered in the move towards minimalist design that we have now.
