I'm not a huge fan of credit card companies, but trying to do business in an environment where you are potentially subject to ex post facto laws at any moment sounds like a nightmare. I guess the only way to protect yourself would be to try to curry influence so that the tides of politics don't run against you.

Antitrust isn't exactly an issue until you have a significant amount of market power. It's not like it's likely to affect most people who start businesses. Hostile to big business maybe, but not so convinced that's a bad thing..
