One word: "Courage".
- orthecreedence 10y agoI'm not easily offended, but that use of the word made me cringe. Courage is running into a burning building to save a family. Courage is going to war for your country knowing you might die. Courage is being more afraid than you've ever been in your life and doing the right thing anyway. To call throwing an age-old standard into the toilet while shoving vendor lock-in down people's throats "courage" is offensive. Shame on Apple.
- mortenjorck 10y agoEasily Schiller's most tone-deaf line since "Some people are using five-year-old computers!"
- mort96 10y agoThat's not even the tone-deafest part though. What really made me cringe is his heartfelt follow-up, "that's really really sad!"
- intoverflow2 10y agoHard to take their e-waste talk seriously when they make statements like that and release so many dongles.
