It's not extortion, they didn't settle for anything other than him deleting all copies of the data that he had access to. Hyperbolic statements are unnecessary.

- loup-vaillant 17y agoThey extorted the "right" to aggregate data from their site. Also note that such right could imply monetary benefits, so this is indeed extortion.
