What would the Mac-person or Linux-person solution look like?
- tedunangst 10y agoThe linux solution would provide a new mechanism to configure sound.
- monochromatic 10y ago... which wouldn't work properly until version 3.5 or so.
- serge2k 10y agoApple would issue a release saying "Don't do X. If you do X and it wipes your computer then obviously you are using your computer wrong".
- kalleboo 10y agoThe Mac solution is that nobody installs an OS X upgrade until it's at the .1 release because everyone knows the .0 release breaks everything. You only install a beta if you're suicidal.
