Ask HN: How to find office hours or startup mentorship?
Our two-man startup may be visiting Cupertino (and SFO) soon for Startup School 2016 and we were thinking of connecting with mentors while we were out there. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You could do it remotely and in fact one of my mentors is remote but generally, building that type of relationship that makes someone want to regularly spend time with you takes at least a dozen 1:1 conversations, a relationship.

Do this by letting them know their time isn't going to waste and what you want to talk about. This helped us a lot in the early days. Note: IMHO most people want to help, but they want to make sure their time is wasted
