Self Awareness is something that is uniquely human. It relies on consciousness.

- MacsHeadroom 10y agoConsciousness is the experience of being. If there is an experience of what it is like to be a thing, then that thing can be said to be conscious. Such things may be some subset of or superset containing "things with brains." But the idea that it is uniquely human seems absurd.
