Experience varies - I got very sick on a short haul flight with a low-cost airline in Europe. There was no doctor on board, but the emergency services at the airport came to help as soon as we landed. They determined I can't be moved from the airplane, and that I needed an ambulance to take me to the hospital; and nobody in the crew had any problem waiting for over 2 hours for the ambulance to arrive, even turning on the airplane engines to keep the heat up for me, burning heaven knows how much fuel, and serving the airport emergency staff with water and snacks. Totally unexpected for a budget airline, but highly appreciated. Kudos on this one, Wizz !
