Do you know what they might have used to make the gifs?
- ramses0 10y agohttps://github.com/paulguy/asciirec https://github.com/paulguy/asciirec is very nice, and could be helpful but doesn't do gifs directly.
- hk__2 10y agoThis works well: https://gist.github.com/dergachev/4627207 https://gist.github.com/dergachev/4627207
- scotu 10y agoit doesn't make a gif but I think it's really nifty to get a similar (better?) effect: https://asciinema.org/ https://asciinema.org/
- paradite 10y agoI use this on OS X and it works great: https://github.com/vvo/gifify https://github.com/vvo/gifify I tried a lot other services to convert quicktime recording to gif but all of them have color encoding issues.
