I'm sorry, but I'm not aware of any airline stocking combitubes[1] or similar easy airways (or at least an i-gel LMA). A Guedel can be useful sometimes, but that's it.
Unless you have a rare scenario where you've got an anesthesiologist/experienced paramedic, it is completely unrealistic to expect a random doctor to be able to use anything else.

- JshWright 10y agoI'm actually a fan of the King airway over the Combitube (much harder to screw up...)
- paviva 10y agoWe don't have those in Canada for some reason, but I do agree, King is good.
- JshWright 10y agoThe problem with any of those though is that you have now inflated a balloon inside your patient in a low pressure environment. You'd better remember that when you descend and the balloon deflates...
