I have a company that has built a lot of smart tv apps. I can say that the Sony TVs have consistently been the least performing of the bunch. We don't support most 2012 TVs anymore and that's on more solid TVs like Samsung and LG. This is a pretty natural evolution it's hugely painful to support legacy TVs right now and 2012 is about where they're becoming too old and underpowered.
