My data structures and algorithms course was unfortunately taught by a pretty awful professor. But out of the entire course, he did have us implement a hash table using Robin Hood Hashing for a homework assignment once. It's the one part of the course that I enjoyed outside of my issues with it, and it's the one that, a couple years down the road, I still like to think and talk to coworkers about because it's an interesting topic.
