I totally get that Apple should pay more tax. However I also understand that it must not be pleasant to be caught between two hammers. UE want them to pay more taxes to them because of this wrongful loophole... USA want them to pay more taxes because of this wrongful loophole... Maybe it's only common sense for Apple to wait that USA and UE define exactly what is actually the lawful taxes process that must replace this no longer existing loophole. Also the very notion of retroactive "crimes" is usually not compatible with a healthy democracy. How can you be condamned for following instruction a sovereign state (Irland) gave you?
