I'd love to see these figures broken down to 1% or .1% level to see if what you point out holds true
- infinite8s 10y agoThe average is heavily overweighted when looking at the top quantiles, since income is lower bounded by zero but effective unbounded on the positive side. A better number is to look at median income.
