Side note on the API of the PHP lib implementing this: could we please stop using the fluent/query-builder pattern with closures? It's the most disgraceful code style I've seen, and misleading: makes you mind think smth. async could be happening. I know Laravel popularized this, along with other ugly patterns, but let's stop cargo-culting this.
