FCC admits defeat in municipal broadband, won’t appeal court loss
- tracker1 10y agoThis is a situation where the resource (access) is scarce, and needs to be managed... I think local management is usually better, in this case I find it almost ironic that the cities are fighting for the same rights (freedom to make those choices separate from higher government) that the states are wanting. In those locations poorly served, municipal choices make a lot of sense, it isn't about socialism/communism it's about pragmatic use in scarce conditions.
