What type of key is it going to be, RSA or ECC? The article omits that detail. ECC would be a huge step forward...
- kijeda 10y agoIt is going to be 2048-bit RSA, same as the existing. It was considered rolling the key for the first time would be complex enough that tracking the effects of an algorithm change as well probably should wait for a future opportunity.
