I wrote a positive review of Sci-Hub in February (http://cis471.blogspot.com/2016/02/sci-hub-site-with-open-and-pirated.html http://cis471.blogspot.com/2016/02/sci-hub-site-with-open-an... ), but just retried it and it failed. I tried retrieving a couple of my old articles from the Communications of the ACM as well as one from the current issue and got nothing but error messages -- "too many redirects" and "500 Internal Server Error." Perhaps they are just having temporary problems.
