Sigurd Lewerentz will never go out of style. My concern would be that we're not making more architects/designers who can produce timeless quality.
- alva 10y ago"..will last forever.." Architecture and design may last a long time, however that does not mean they are looked upon favourably by the zeitgeist. History proves this time and time again. I think it is a mistake to think "we have got it right this time", as if we are immune to these trends. We are very susceptible to thinking in this way. edit: Unless you think design is going down the path of constant refinement, eventually leading to some fundamental perfect design. I do not believe this exists.
