Myself (Braid username: tscizzle) and Preethi (Braid username: preethiv) built this because our conversation style online doesn't fit well with traditional messaging. Our conversations tend to split into "strands", where we might send 5 messages (thus, 5 strands), and the other person wants to respond to each of the 5 messages independently. So we built a chat application which allows each of these strands to be viewed independently, in an accessible and intuitive way. And now it's fully replaced Gchat for us (when talking to each other)! So we thought we'd share it, see if anyone else would find it useful, and see what other people thought in general.
